As a lifelong lover of children’s books, I have designed some characters for my own stories as well as some well-known stories and characters.

Soup’s Ready!

This is“Soup’s ready dear!” said Mama Squirrel. Frederick sniffed the air with satisfaction. Acorn soup was his favourite!

Old Mage Fluffykins

Old mage Fluffikins stared deep into the cauldron and pondered. “Hmmm, that wasn’t the result I was looking for,” he mused. “Maybe I should have added more fairy dust.”

Winston in the rain

Winston couldn’t wait to get his wellington boots and rain mac on. Floating around in puddles was his favourite thing in the world!

Pickles the mouse

“Oh dear!” cried Pickles the mouse sadly. “It wasn’t supposed to rain today and now it will take me so long to get home!”

Mr Badger and the apple orchard

Mr Badger strolled through the orchard with his wheelbarrow filled with apples. “These are going to taste delicious in a pie!” he thought happily.

Captain Raffles to the rescue!

Captain Raffles set off for another mission in space. On his way he thought about how he would treat himself to a fishfinger sandwich when he got back to base.
